Devi is an entrepreneurial business leader who has been involved
in recruiting throughout her career for more than 20 years.
She joined JWC Partners with deep experience in the fields of
education and retail.
Devi began her career in client service at Arthur Andersen in
Chicago, transferring to the Singapore and Hong Kong offices to
open the Litigation Services consulting practice in Asia.
Using her Asian experience, she was hired by Gap, Inc. to focus
on international business development for The Gap brand. As
e-commerce became a mainstay, she moved to Online Business
Development for Gap Online, which was one of the first apparel
e-commerce sites.
With a passion for business education and talent development,
Devi returned to the U.S. and co-founded APBM, an educational
organization to develop curricula for business management
certifications. As technology-enabled learning shifted
knowledge transfer from traditional classroom settings to on-line
options, the company offered business education tools to
corporations around the world for professional development.
Additionally, several top business school programs have used their
products with admitted students for pre-certification.
Published in 2009, Devi is the author of What's Your MBA IQ?, a
career development guide for managers.
Devi earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School and received
her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in
Champaign-Urbana, graduating with Higher Honors in
Accountancy. She is a CPA and CBM. Devi currently
serves on the Admissions Board for Harvard Business School for
outreach and evaluation of candidates worldwide.
Devi lives in the Chicagoland area, enjoys yoga, and makes time
for Project Runway and Charlie Rose.
